NOTE FROM SPA GIRL

Happy Summer!

I want to share with you the many exciting things are happening at the Spa. My goal has always been to help others. As the business grows and my vision becomes clearer, I find that I want to focus in a direction that promotes wellness for our clients, wellness for our Earth, as well as helping others in the community and world.

My Staff of therapists has been carefully chosen. As a former Massage Therapist, I have a clear idea of the type of people I want to represent the Spa. Not only do they have to have excellent technique, they have to have a nurturing spirit of the heart.

I want to associate with other Wellness businesses so that I have a resource to give my clients. Some colleagues and I have started a Wellness Networking group to achieve this goal. My Favorite Picks will be listed each month for your viewing. Special "Bodylines Clients" promotions and discounts will be available.

I am excited to announce that a new chiropractor, Michelle Chauss DC, will be joining our team as of July 14th. I am negotiating with a Naturopathic Doctor that may be relocating to the Bay Area in Sept. Our wonderful Hypnotherapist and Acupuncturist are still on site.

After searching for something special to bring in for retail, I have found a fantastic product line. The Spiral Foundation is a humanitarian Non Profit group that helps villagers in Nepal and Vietnam (see below). I am tickled pink to be able to bring their beautiful handiwork to San Ramon and also improve their lives. The products are all made of recycled materials. It's a win/win for mankind and our mother Earth!

A delightful new line of Organic Body care products is on route. Samita and I will be going to the SF Gift show in July in search of new products.

The June book, The Lovely Bones, got mixed reviews. Everyone agreed it was an interesting perspective of a disturbing subject.

We had a great meeting and talked about the book and everything from tattoos to life issues. It is a great group of folks and I encourage you to come to the next meeting!

RSD SUPPORT GROUP

Burning pain that doesn't go away? ~ Hot or cold extremities? ~ Skin sensitivity?~ Are your doctors confused?

You may have Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome (RSD) also know as Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS)

RSD is a neurological condition usually but not always, preceded by a trauma. This support group is aimed at being positive, non-judgmental, uplifting and fun. It is not meant to diagnose, but rather to share vast experience and information.

The group meets 2nd Tuesday of the month from 11- 1 p.m.
